Inspired by the neighborhood storefront restaurants found throughout Chicago, SOLO Trattoria is a casual, comfortable spot with a seasonal menu driven by the best of what’s available right now. Complimented by a carefully-selected wine list featuring over 35 bottles, craft beers and signature cocktails, the menu is respectful of tradition but not bound by it.

Chef Richard Sparks, III
A native of Colorado, Chef Rick brings more than 11 years of restaurant experience to SOLO Trattoria. After graduating from the Arizona Culinary Institute, he apprenticed under David Toole at the Creede Hotel & Restaurant in Colorado and Tony Hamati at Bravo Bistro in Scottsdale. During Chef Rick’s culinary career he has worked as line cook and sous chef for restaurants in Colorado, Arizona and Hawaii honing his skills in a variety of cuisines; Italian, Mediterranean, Asian Fusion, Fine Dining and authentic Mexican. This varied experience provides him with the knowledge to marry the best flavors and culinary techniques. Chef Rick focuses on finding the best ingredients Arizona has to offer and treating them with respect.
